Portraits of Creatives and Professionals (aka headshots)

Some of Eric’s Favorites from Summer 2008

Fun around the yard

At the end of a portrait session, the children I work with are a mess.? So am I.? My knees are grass stained, my fingers have bubble solution all over them (bet the camera repair place has never cleaned out a camera with bubble soap in it!) but that’s nothing compared to what happens to children in their beautiful and clean outfits…in the course of dancing, blowing bubbles, and hiding in the flowers, this big girl and I had a blast all around her hard.? She even showed me her dance moves…

Location Location Location: Havin’ fun at Lakeside

For 4 years now, I’ve been creating portraits in parks, among trees and flowers, sitting on rocks, and in families homes. I love the portraits I’ve created, but there is always room for something new. It’s time for new locations, so keep your eyes open for the places I take families (my own included) in the portraits that follow!? We had a blast at Lakeside Amusement Park this week…

Children + The Back Alleys of Lodo = Yeah!

I love shooting downtown.? The light is beautiful, and there is no shortage of textures and colors to combine with your children and create wonderful portraits.? Here’s a recent session from one of my First Saturday Sessions.? (First Saturday Sessions happen every first Saturday.? I pick the spot, and you come to me for just $50.? I’ll be up in Summit County in July, was in Cheesman Park in June, and Lodo in May.? Call 303-731-2061 for the August location.

Liks Ice Cream….mmmmm

A cloudy day in Lowry

As a rule, the cloudy days when rain is just around the corner make for some of the best weather for portraits.? Just as we were finish up this session, the thunder rolled in, but not before we created some beautiful portraits of this playful Lowry family…

Three generations in the park

One thing I love about being a photographer is that it usually turns into a fun day in the park for me and the kids. ?We stayed away from the Cheesman park fountains for as long as possible (woudn’t want to be soaking wet for portraits with mom and Grandma!) but finally, we could stay away no longer…

I'm about to get wet!
