Hi Parents, I’m excited to be returning to Compass for the 3rd year to see many familiar faces and a some new ones as well. I have 2 children at the Golden campus, Naomi in Lower El, and Leah in Kindergarten. I always love spending time with their friends and in in our wonderful gem of a school.
I do things a bit differently than your traditional school portrait. First, I use my cheese as a last result, and I try hard not to say smile. Instead, I have a conversation with your child, we talk about life, sports, fun, school, their friends. The result is a natural portrait of your child, which MAY include smiling, but also could capture a range of different emotions. Portraits that actually tell the story of our kids…what a novel idea! I’ve created portraits of kids with their skateboards, kids with the pigs, and kids just having a blast in front of the camera. (the best way to understand what I do is to see the slideshow that I’ll post on this page in the next few days)
I’ll be coming in November to create portraits, but you have to remember to return the sign-up form to school. (this will go home the week before portraits) I create portraits of students ONLY if their parents return the sign-up form. Unlike years past, I am not asking for payment or selection of a package before portraits are created. You view the portraits I create on my website and pay and order online. There is NO obligation to order portraits, but to minimize disruption to the school day, please only send your child to me if you are truly interested in purchasing portraits.
Portraits will be delivered to school in time for the holiday break.
Lifetouch will be at school this fall as well. The will photography ALL children regardless for purposes of the yearbook and producing student IDs. If you wish to purchase portraits from Lifetouch, be sure to look for those materials going home soon.
