I create portraits of children and families all over Colorado, often working in a family’s home and neighborhood. This fall, I’ll be working with tons of families from across the city doing mini sessions sold through the website, Mamapedia.
If you can grab one of these sessions while the deal is alive, you’ll be able to choose from a number of my favorite locations around the city for portrait sessions from the following dates and places:
8/17 Afternoon sessions. Riverfront Park, Central Denver (Eric’s favorite park, offering everything from urban architecture, to beautiful manicured park, to native grass lands within 2 blocks)
8/19 Afternoon sessions. City Park, Denver. A walk through the trees, hide and seek around the pavilion, perhaps even a splashing in the creek.
8/24 Evening Sessions Hudson Gardens. A beautiful park for family portraits.
9/18 Urban Sessions in Lodo and Riverfront park. We’ll wander the alleys and streets of lodo. The colors and textures of the city are a beautiful environment for portraits of kids and families alike
9/25 Studio Sessions. Don’t buy school portraits this year! We’ll use a clean white backdrop and create classic portraits of your children during these indoor studio sessions.
10/9 City Park in the fall.
10/30 Hudson Gardens
10/31 Halloween in the Studio. Come in costume for fun and silly portraits in our Central Denver Studio. Bold, bright, and just plain silly!

One of the things I love about family portrait sessions is the opportunity to play, laugh, and giggle. That we did while wandering around Denver’s City Park Pavilion.
This fun couple had their wedding at the Boettcher Mansion a few years back, and so we returned here for family portraits on a beautiful July evening. We had the place to ourself, and the wet spring and summer meant lots of wildflowers and green grass to play in. Here’s a few of my favorites from that session.
This kid and I go way back to when she was 3 (she’s 7 now) She’s a classmate of my Daughter, and I’ve creating portraits of her both at the school and in portrait sessions around Golden now. She’s a pro and ton’s of fun to photograph. Mom wanted to focus on portraits of the two of them together, so that’s what we did as we walked along the banks of Clear Creek in Golden.
